ANIS Terms of Service (DRAFT)

Status: DRAFT, not yet published. Same publication requirements as the privacy policy: legal review, published Arabic translation, hosted at a public URL (e.g. https://<anis-domain>/terms) linked from the app, the sign-in flow, and the store listings. Bracketed [...] values are placeholders.

1. The service

ANIS provides AI-powered voice transcription and text transformation (“Commands”). Output is generated by AI models and may contain errors; you are responsible for reviewing text before relying on it.

2. Accounts

You sign in with a Google account and must provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person; accounts are not transferable.

3. Subscriptions and billing

• ANIS is freemium: a free tier with a monthly usage quota, and paid tiers ([Essential / Elite / Ultimate]) with larger quotas.
• Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record.
• Quotas are metered in minutes of transcribed audio per 30-day billing period and do not roll over.
• [Refund policy (define: e.g. 14-day refund on first purchase, pro-rated / no refund on renewals; must match the Lemon Squeezy store settings.)]
• We may change prices or quota allocations with [30] days’ notice; changes apply from your next billing period.

4. Acceptable use

You may not: (a) transcribe audio you have no right to record or process; you are responsible for complying with recording-consent laws that apply to you; (b) use the service to produce or distribute unlawful content; (c) attempt to circumvent quotas, probe, or disrupt the service; (d) reverse engineer the applications except where the law permits it despite this term; (e) resell or provide the service to third parties as your own offering.

5. Your content

You own your recordings and transcripts. You grant ADAMAX a limited license to process your audio solely to provide the service (transcription, quota metering). We do not use your content to train AI models (see the Privacy Policy).

6. Availability and changes

The service depends on third-party AI providers and may be interrupted, rate-limited, or degraded. We may modify or discontinue features. The service is provided “as is” without warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ADAMAX’s total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid in the [12] months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions made in reliance on AI-generated output.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms; if we terminate without cause, we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid period.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction]; disputes are resolved in [venue / arbitration].

10. Changes to these terms

We will post changes at the URL above and update the effective date; material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
